Yorick Parke
At the age of 23, Yorick Parke decided to play professional basketball. On a whim, he moved to London, England after playing for University of Manitoba in the CIAU. Without any connections, Yorick was able to market himself to several British Basketball League teams through sheer persistence and a good story. At his second tryout, Yorick signed a contract with the Hemel Royals. After playing for the Royals, Yorick spent several years playing professional basketball in Spain, Portugal, and Iceland before finally retiring.
After Yorick's playing career was over, he spent time as an executive recruiter, working with brands such as Kraft and ADM. Yorick then decided to combine his experience in the staffing industry with his love of sports and became a certified sports agent. Today, Yorick works with many athletes across a variety of sports, helping them achieve the dream of a professional sports career.
